List of products by brand André Jacquart

It was the decree of 17 December 1908 that started the geographical delimitation of the vineyards where grapes could be grown for the production of Champagne, and in that year Michel Jacquart purchased the first 2 hectares of vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger . In 1958 André Jacquart decided to create his own Champagne and to expand the vineyard property to reach 8 hectares. In 1980 Pascal Doyard, a well-known expert in Chardonnay and product processing, joined the company, but the company still lacked something that allowed it to differentiate itself from the other Champagne houses. André's grandchildren will innovate the company in 2004. In fact, they began to use wooden barrels from Burgundy during winemaking, they stopped carrying out malolactic fermentation, lengthened the autolysis time and the final dosage was reduced. From that year on, André Jacquart's Champagnes changed, acquiring that much sought-after personality that brought them very close to the organoleptic features of Burgundy, to the complexity of the perfect Côte de Blancs style, showing all the minerality of the Vertus soil as a strength. The Vertus vineyards were purchased in 2006, bringing the hectares owned by the Maison Jacquart to twenty-four. The production of Maison Jaquart, however, is based only on grapes from the ten hectares in Mesnil and from the six hectares owned by Vertus, while the grapes from all the remaining vineyards, including those in Oger, Aube and in the 'Aisne, are sold to the other Maison.
