Tuscany, as well as for its priceless art treasures, is known throughout the world also for the quality of its wine territories and therefore for the preciousness of its wines. Mocine, is located right in the heart of this generous land, in the Crete Senesi, in Chiusure, a fraction of Asciano, just below the Abbey of Monte Oliveto and, over the years, has established itself as one of the most interesting producers of the province of Siena and the entire region of Tuscany. The company's wines are representative of the productive excellence of this territory. Mocine wines are the result of a long collaboration with the famous oenologists Attilio Pagli and Giacomo Cesari. They derive from a careful selection of Sangiovese and Colorino grapes, to which are added two rare native Tuscan varieties: Foglia Tonda and Barsaglina. Red Mocine is the fruit of 60% Sangiovese, 35% round leaf and barsaglina, 5% colorino. Harvest in 4 stages and separate vinification for each of the vines. Then assembly and aging in steel. It is a characteristic red, concentrated, drenched in small fruits and an unexpected freshness.
